Our Team Fundraising Page
Team 670 is dedicated to helping Junior Achievement of Arkansas develop critical skills in our future leaders. JA has embraced a learning model that fosters experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom, including activities that support our citizenship values. Students with the highest levels of financial literacy are more likely to be oriented toward saving, earning a college degree and working in a high-skilled occupation. Junior Achievement of Arkansas employs a pathways approach to teaching financial literacy to young people. JA programs are designed to engage students on the subject over multiple grades, from their first days in kindergarten, throughout their K-12 years, preparing them for the transition to post secondary education or work and we are blessed to be apart of this great mission through volunteerism and financial giving.
Even if people have limited means, a better understanding of how money works and how one can use budgeting, cost management, and credit as a tool can help lead to better financial outcomes, which can contribute to a greater quality of life and financial wellness. We are encouraged by the opportunity for Walmart Claims Services and other companies looking to engage their people in meaningful and purpose-driven volunteerism to adopt the “everyone benefits” approach. To us, that is truly the ideal formula. Team 670 has a goal of $750.00 and we are hoping that you will provide a generous donation to help us surpass that number for an amazing program that will benefit our future leaders. Thank you.
