I said years ago that I would never run another marathon.  I was kidding myself.  Since then, I've run in Berlin, London, and Tokyo.  I've had the best time running with friends and fundraising and donating to several charities. So, why do I run?  It's for the people and the friendships I have gained from it.  Maybe it's a little about my own goals, but it's mostly the people.  That's why I'm happy to be running NYC as a BellRunner.  I'm excited to run the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon with this team and support The Bell Center.  

The Bell Center is a nonprofit organization that provides Early Intervention therapy to children with special needs.  I've been fortunate to see children grow and develop through the programs and resources offered by this amazing organization.  I know that every donation makes a difference.  That's why I hope to exceed my goal of $115 per every mile of my marathon.  

I am honored to run for Margaret Rushing this year.  I met her mom Malisa recently through a running friend.  Margaret just turned 3 years old.  She LOVES books, dance, music, and her kitchen!
