Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you: Florence Helena Sturkey, Copley Middle School English Teacher. She taught me the importance of a firm handshake and being adequately prepared for presentations. Anticipate needs!
What were some of your most enjoyable times in school? (preschool through college): I was a member of the Copley High school band. As a clarinetist, I was concert mistress in my senior year. Friends made, discipline learned.
Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self? You are good enough! Don’t be afraid to be different, if it’s true to you!
