Why I Walk

I walk because I am a survivor of HELLP syndrome. We lost our beautiful son, Adrian Louis, at 23w2d in early 2024 due to HELLP syndrome. We walk to honor Adrian. We walk to honor everyone affected by pregnancy related loss and/or struggles - the parents and their babies (both angels and earth-side). We walk to honor Mia Jane and her mother, Trashaun - two angels who have guided us during our darkest time. We walk to support continued education and research with the hope for prevention and an eventual cure. We walk to spread awareness, and to pay forward the immeasurable kindness that has been bestowed upon us.
