Team Harper

Why I Walk

Team Harper is in honor and rememberance of our daughter who we lost at 22 weeks due to myself having HELLP Syndrome. HELLP Syndrome caused Harper to have severe growth restriction, due to this she was not able to survive her birth. 

Not only are we walking for our daughter, but for other family and friends that we know who have had Preeclampsia as well. My mother had Preeclampsia with me, I was born at 28 weeks, she too went through her own health risks as well. One of my best friends has also survived Preeclampsia and her beautiful son is now 3.
