As many of you know, my sister, Courtney, was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2023. The shock of the diagnosis, especially while pregnant, was overwhelming but their family connected with Purple Plunge within the first few weeks after the diagnosis. Their Purple Plunge event is coming up on March 2nd, where Courtney’s husband, Eric organized a team to jump into the lake in Lake Zurich to raise money for local families experiencing a cancer diagnosis (just like they helped our family).
