Annie Krueger

For many years, my daughter has faced the challenges of depression. Despite this, she remains an incredible individual with a compassionate heart and a deep empathy for others. Through proper treatment and support she lives a happy and fulfilling life. My daughter knows that depression doesn’t make her any less awesome. I firmly believe that depression and mental health should be openly discussed and destigmatized. I am proud to be running the 2024 Chicago Marathon with Team Resilience, Race for Depression Awareness for Erika’s Lighthouse. Support me as I challenge myself to raise awareness and educate teens about depression.

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
