As mothers we worry everyday about how our children will grow and turn out. As mothers we only want the best for our babies and do everything in our power to prepare them for what lies ahead. As mothers we also try to prepare ourselves for all that may come. 

No one can prepare a mother for the pain, loss, and grief of having to let go of their own creation. It is something mothers were not made for. Mothers were not meant to bury their children. Sadly, that is my story. I lost a beautiful little rugrat a little over a year ago to Epilepsy. I went to wake her for school Halloween morning and she had a seizure while we were sleeping in and did not made it. 

If you have ever been blessed with getting to know my daughter you will never forget how amazing unforgettable she is. She walks into a room and the whole vibe changes. She stands up for what is right and corrects those who are wrong. 

Payton said it best herself : "Stay with helping people, not beating them down. Also cheer people up when sad or hurt. " Payton Marie 2010-2022.

We should all learn to be a little more like this a 11 year old little girl that was taken away from us too soon. I live everyday myself with Epilepsy and my son Payton's older brother is also living with Epilepsy. 

We walk for Payton and John in hopes of helping people and not beating them down as Payton would put it!
