Epilepsy Warrior

I was in my mid-20s when I was diagnosed with epilepsy and I was afraid that it would wreck my life. With the support of family, friends and doctors I realized that was not the case at all. In 2020 I graduated with a Masters degree, and while is most certaily was not easy, it is further proof to me that epilepsy won't stop me.

Epilepsy is the 4th most common neurological disease worldwide and has been diagnosed in approximately 3.4 million people in the U.S. Like cancer, epilepsy is not a single disease. It is comprised of many different causes.
