Preparing to Attend Walk for Paws

5K Color Run

The color run involves water-soluble coloring distributed as runners pass each color station. We recommend wearing sunglasses and having dogs wear doggles.

Yoga with Puppies

  • Bring your own mat.
  • The event will include adoptable puppies from our shelter. No family pets are permitted to attend.

Doggie Lure Course

  • Dogs will queue up to run the course on a first-come basis.
  • A $25 donation is required and includes two course runs.
  • Professional photos will be available for purchase after the event. You’ll receive the link and details on availability on the day of the event.

Axe Throwing

  • This is an adult-only event, and Walk attendees under 18 will not be permitted in the axe throwing area.
  • Must wear closed-toed shoes.
  • Make sure to have a copy of your ID.
