We are the BVSPCA's volunteer army. When there's a flight, we're there to unload the new arrivals. When there's an event in the community, we're out there matching adopters with companions and spreading awareness about our lifesaving work.
We assist with everything from keeping the facilities in tip top shape to helping to improve the behaviors of our companions so they become better candidates for adoption. Each companion is an individual, with their own individual needs - our role is to make sure they get that.
If each animal we touch leaves a pawprint on our heart, then our hearts are completely covered in them. We know you feel the same.
That's why we're raising money for Walk for Paws. Our West Chester campus is our flagship campus - it's where Brandywine Valley SPCA began, and where we're looking to continue to grow.
And it's not just animals in our shelter that these funds help. We work with shelters in the community who desperately need support - Humane Society of Harrisburg Area being the most recent. Our goal is to make Harrisburg No-Kill... working towards making Pennsylvania No-Kill.
