2024 Walk for the Animals

I need your help!

Please support me as I walk in the 2024 Capital Area Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals.

Every day, animals arrive at the doors of the Capital Area Humane Society with nothing more than hope for a better future. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer. CAHS is there to take these animals in and provide them with food, shelter, medical care, and love, just when they need it most.

All proceeds benefit CAHS, where I work and run the high volume S/N clinic in South Lansing. CAHS does so many things to benefit animal welfare locally: adoption, surrender, education, fostering, spay/neuter and the list goes on.In 2023 at the spay/neuter clinic we fixed 5,996 dogs/cats. 1362 of those were FREE "community cats" (outdoor/unowned/stray/feral) surgeries.

With no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any other humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps CAHS going. Please, help me in supporting this critical work that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort, and unconditional love with a forever family.
