I need your help! Many of you know my Jam is Feral Cats. Helping them survive and giving them a chance at a better life with a family if I can tell they are NOT feral.
Caring for cat colonies is more than just feeding the cats that are already there, it’s looking out for NEW cats who find their way there, and getting them fixed to prevent more kittens in the community! We are *extremely* lucky to have not only the Capital Area Humane Society in our community, but also a Holly Thoms! she is a leader in spaying and neutering our community pets, and preventing more homeless kittens from having a sickly hard life because there just isn’t enough space or funding for all of them. SO, if you can, please consider donating to the Capital Area Humane Society, so Holly and everyone there, plus us colony caretakers can keep helping in the way we do!
Every day, animals arrive at the doors of the Capital Area Humane Society with nothing more than hope for a better future. With the economy struggling, it is no question that when people suffer, animals can suffer. CAHS is there to take these animals in and provide them with food, shelter, medical care, and love, just when they need it most.
With no state or federal funding, and no affiliation with any other humane organizations, it is solely the support of the community that keeps CAHS going. Please, help me in supporting this critical work that helps homeless animals find warmth, comfort, and unconditional love with a forever family.
Any amount you may be able to give will help tremendously - it all adds up! Or, come join me at the Walk for the Animals on October 5 to show your support for animals in need! To donate online, please click the “Donate Now” button to the right.
Please support me as I walk in the 2024 Capital Area Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals.
