Camp Heart Connection is one of Children's Cancer Connection's largest programs. CCC has been dedicated to providing camps for Iowa children affected by childhood cancer and their families for over 35 years. At Children's Cancer Connection they believe in serving the entire family through the entire journey, which makes their camp programming unique and unforgettable. CCC offers six different camp programs throughout the year including one weeklong Oncology Camp, one weeklong Sibling Camp, two weeklong Day Camps, a weekend Spring Family Camp, a weekend Fall Family Camp, and a weekend Teen Camp.

Why support Camp Heart Connection?

When you support Camp Heart Connection, you are giving directly to support our programs that are free of charge to families. Children's Cancer Connection covers the cost of roughly $600 per child so that their family never feels the financial burden of sending their child to camp. 

As a new member of the CHC family, I have been inspired by the tenacity, love, and support each camper brings to the table. I am grateful to be the Camp Director of Camp Heart Connection, but this program is larger than me... it is for the 500 campers, 200+ volunteers, and countless others that make up the CHC/CCC family!
