As some of you know my journey with Camp Heart Connection started back in 2001 at 5 years old when I attended my first week of oncology camp. Camp has had a life long impact on my life and has helped make me who I am today. Each year of camp was new, different, and exciting. Camp helped me throughout the years not only find out who I was but, helped me find my life long friends who share a similar life experience and can share in some of the feelings, and emotions that come along with battling cancer and living with the after effects. I have laughed, cried, gone to college, been roommates, stood by friends at their wedding who I met at camp. These connections are the strongest ones in the world and hold through the test of time. 
 

Coming back to camp as staff was something I always looked forward to as a camper. Now I get to be apart giving back to families and campers who are in the same position I once was. My ultimate goal has always been to be able to raise enough money to fund a whole cabin of campers to come to camp, help me reach that goal by donating today.
