I have only recently started working at the Georgetown BVSPCA location a few months ago, but I have quickly fallen in love with every animal. Working with the cats and dogs and helping them get adopted has been incredibly rewarding and I can't wait for Bark on the Boards to send my critters into loving homes. I hope to raise money to help fix up kennels around the shelter and to give our animals the best care possible!
Thor
Thor is a big boy who loves treats and walking on trail. He is a smart boy and knows quite a few tricks. If you're looking for a trail buddy or a snuggle buddy check Thor out!
Carlisle is a sweet "giant frenchie". He loves attention and will politely cry when he would like more. He is good with other dogs and is looking for a faimily to cuddle with!
Kimba is very talented at rolling in the grass which leads to baths. Luckily she is a perfect angel in the bath and is a big fan of the extra treats she gets from the experience. If you are looking for a dog who loves to play Kimba is your girl!
Michael and his brother Chucky are affectionate and curious kitties. They love to supervise whatever you're doing and they will try their best to help, even if that means crawling in your lap while you're cleaning their litter box!
Sully is a giant lap dog. Sully is probably one of the happiest dogs you might ever meet. Walking around the shelter you can see his booty swinging side to side because his tail is wagging so hard! Sully had come a long way, when he came in, he was incredibly shut down but he has come so far!
Foxie is a professional sunbather. Whenever she is out in a yard she is in a full sploot position, soaking up the sun on the maximum surface area. Foxie is a very sweet girl and would love to be sunbathing in a lucky person's yard!
Pebbles is a wonderful girl who loves to play and cuddle. She is a huge fan of going on trail and is a joy to walk. She is a staff and volunteer favorite!
