I started volunteering at Brandywine SPCA after retiring from teaching. In March, I fostered a dog that came to the shelter very nervous and scared. Long story short I adopted her and she is adjusting well. We are still working on her confidence but we will not give up. I encourage adopters to do the same. With this fundraising the money will help feed and provide necessities for the animals at the shelter. I see the work and dedication from everyone at the shelter. He may look tough but he is such a sweetie. He can sit and shake his paw - for a treat. I love taking this big guy on adventures on the trail.
