Brittany McCarthy was a vibrant young woman whose life was cut short far too soon. She was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and dedication to helping others.
Brittany’s family and friends have channeled their grief into action, organizing this annual event to honor her memory and raise awareness about the dangers of brain aneurysms with the funding of TBF Preventative Research Grants. Through their efforts, they hope to fund research that could save lives and prevent other families from enduring such a devastating loss.
The 4th Annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will be held on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 at Wolfe's Pond Park

RUNNERS START: 9:30 AM and walkers to follow
NEW THIS YEAR: A special Brittany McCarthy Memorial Medal given to all participants to cross the finish line for runners and walkers, while supplies last.
- First 100 runners will receive a T-shirt
- All walkers MUST register by Aug 15th to receive a T-shirt
- Runners will receive awards for the following:
- Trophies: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place overall, male & female
- Medals: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place, male and female by age group
- Age groups: 8-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
- All time and clocked by Complete Race Solutions.
