About Denise:
Originally from Central Kentucky, I relocated to Knoxville 25 years ago and married a former UT football player, creating a life filled with passion and purpose. I own several small businesses in Knoxville after spending 20 years in corporate America. As a proud mother of three sons, I cherish every moment with my family, including our three dogs.
Golf is one of my favorite pastimes, and I love UT tailgating, especially as my husband is converting me into a Vol for life. Beyond my personal interests, I am deeply committed to helping those who struggle or face exploitation. My passion for addressing human trafficking is driven by a desire to support the vulnerable—those who lack confidence, resources, and empowerment. This commitment is why I serve on a board dedicated to this cause, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
About Karen:
This is my second year as a contestant for Unmasked. It has been my honor to serve on the board for the coalition for the last few years. My hope is to raise enough funds to educate the world about the scourge that is human trafficking and to eliminate the need to even have our organization. Until then, I want to work as hard as possible to have this beautiful and amazing group continue their good works to help the people who are affected, the women, children and even men who fall victim to this plague.
I have lived in Knoxville for the last 10 years. My husband learned about the coalition through his work and immediately knew this would be something I would be interested in helping with. I currently teach yoga in the community, helping all souls intentionally weave their ways through the easy and the difficult things that life presents. I am also active with the Cancer Support Center of East Tennessee and the American Heart Association.
