Put It In The Books.

I took my first swing at 5:33 a.m. and sank my final putt at 8:45 p.m. The temperature climbed to a toasty 91 degrees. The swing felt good. The heat was brutal. There were bears.

And I loved every second of it.

174 holes.  15 hours.  Over $50,000.

Thanks to your incredible support, we crushed our $50,000 goal for Gifts of Love — helping provide food and critical resources to families in need across our community. Your generosity means more than you know.

And yes…You made Jen pay. She matched $2,200 worth of $100 donations made on Monday. Worth it.

What an awesome day! Many, many thanks to everyone who helped us reach our $200k goal - a truly remarkable number we should all be proud of. Speaking of remarkable numbers, I used my handy-dandy fitness tracker to keep tally on the day and I was blown away to see just how much ground we covered in a little over 15 hours! Countdown to Tee Time

200 HOLES FOR $200,000

Over the last 5 years, we have raised over $150,000 for Gifts of Love, and I am amazed by your overwhelming generosity in contributing to this incredible accomplishment. I'm proud to say that together, we've been able to provide basic needs support to countless families - our neighbors - to help them get back on their feet.

Last year was about adversity. I faced it on the golf course because of a swing flaw that plagued me all day long. What got me through the day was knowing this pales in comparison to the adversity Gifts Of Love clients face every day. In the end, I played terribly, yet we raised more money last year than in any of the first four years.  This year is about redemption, so I'm committing to playing 200 holes to raise a lifetime total of $200,000 for Gifts of Love - that's a goal of $50,000 by July 28th. Here's how you can contribute:
