Thank You for Making DogFest DFW 2025 a Success!

What an incredible day! Thanks to the dedication of our community, DogFest DFW 2025 brought together friends, families, and dogs to celebrate 50 years of Canine Companions.

Because of your generosity, we raised more than $250,000, and fundraising continues through December 31, 2025. Every dollar raised helps us provide expertly trained service dogs to people with disabilities completely free of charge.

Keep the Momentum Going

  • Fundraise through the end of the year: Your team page and personal page are still active so keep sharing and raising support.
  • Volunteer with us: Share your time and talents to help more people experience independence.
  • Spread the word: Encourage friends and family to join our mission.

We are deeply grateful for your support and partnership. Together we are making a lasting impact and shaping the next 50 years of independence, teamwork and service.

Thank you for being part of DogFest DFW 2025 and for keeping the celebration going through year’s end.

Why We Fundraise

At Canine Companions, we’re at the forefront of the service dog industry, dedicated to enhancing the independence of our clients through our expertly trained service dogs. Since our founding in 1975, we’ve provided service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities, as well as facility dogs to professionals in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings—all at no cost to our clients.

Our commitment is unwavering: every  dog and follow-up service are  provided at no charge, ensuring that individuals and organizations can focus on the life-changing impact of our  extraordinary dogs without financial barriers.

Yujia and Gordie

Yujia.jpgYujia has always been active and independent, but over the years her disability has affected her mobility in a number of ways. Yujia looked to Canine Companions for her next chapter. With Service Dog Gordie, Yujia says she’s been able to “resume life.”

“I feel like life has been on pause for a couple years where I’ve had to be careful and cautious of everything, and I feel a weight being lifted off my shoulders knowing that Gordie is a critical, integral part of my life.”

Hear more of Yujia and Gordie’s story when you attend DogFest DFW 2025!

When you raise funds through DogFest, you directly contribute to this mission and help provide the gift of enhanced independence to those we serve. Your efforts make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and communities across the country.
