What's our tie to Canine Companions? I'm so glad you asked! Both Kristen and Trisha have completed courses in Dog Behavior and Cognition from Duke University, taught by the one and only Brian Hare - who happens to be a professor at Duke and director of the Duke Canine Cognition Center, where his research and testing with Duke Puppy Kindergarten pinpoints the right candidates for the service dogs that Canine Companions moves forward with. ISN'T THAT INCREDIBLE?! I've also read both The Genius of Dogs and Survival of The Friendliest and am such a huge fan of his entire body of work. 

This is an organization we can unequivocally stand behind. We love being able to represent ourselves authentically by supporting endeavors we know bring impact. Please help us raise $2,500 by the event date on Saturday, September 13th! And come see us!
