My brother Ansen had his first seizure at 6 months old, and has been hospitalized multiple times since, including multiple emergency helicopter rides. Dravet syndrome is a very severe brain condition that causes seizures, developmental issues, learning disorders, behavior disorders, sleep disturbance, and many other issues. It can even be fatal. Helping to support the Dravet Syndrome Foundation helps to fund research to hopefully one day cure/alleviate Dravet syndrome, and to provide support to affected families and individuals.
