About End Hunger In Calvert County
25,000 people in Southern Maryland are food insecure. End Hunger In Calvert County is on a mission to change that. End Hunger provides food and products to 52 feeding organizations and backpack programs throughout Southern Maryland.
End Hunger also has a Culinary Program for individuals 16 years and older with learning differences. Through the 10-week program, students are introduced to foundational culinary and workplace readiness skills that will be beneficial for employment in the food-service and catering industries.
The North Beach Dragon Boat Festival is one of End Hunger In Calvert County's largest fundraisers of the year with all proceeds going to assisting our work of feeding our neighbors and supporting individuals with learning differences on their journey towards gaining meaningful employment. What a great cause to support, Ashley, especially these days. I paddled with the Baltimore Dragon Boat Team for two years and thought it was a blast. I hope you both enjoy the experience, and the crazy arm/core workout ;)
