I was just selected for the Youth National Team Selection Camp for waterpolo and I am hoping you’ll make a small donation towards the women’s Olympic Development program of which this camp is a pipeline. An invitation to the NTSC puts me in the top 50 girls of my age range in the nation with a goal of developing these girls to build our future Olympic team! Even if that is an ambitious dream, training with world class coaches and playing with the top girls is a huge privilege and one that is both fun and educational. If I am selected from this training camp for the next level, I’ll be playing against other youth teams from around the world! Raising money is part of the tradition of the development program, but won’t exclude me from participating. Perhaps asking my friends and family is a way for me to boast, just a little.
