Hi family and friends, My water polo journey started when I was 8 years old. Given my connection to the water, I quickly developed a love for the sport and have never looked back. I currently play year-round water polo for Santa Cruz Water Polo Club and was fortunate to be selected to play and represent the Pacific Zone at the National Championships in Utah. Out of the top 18 teams in the nation, my team placed 3rd bringing home a bronze medal! After the tournament, I was honored to be selected to attend the National Team Selection Camp in Orange County. At this camp, the top 75 girls in the US will train with the USA water polo Olympic Development coaches. I love water polo because it has allowed me to make new friends, is very physically demanding and fast paced, and I have been able to travel to new places. My dream is to eventually become a collegiate water polo player and one day represent team USA in the Olympics! Attending this camp will bring me one step closer.
