Tuesday’s Children was formed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. As a result of that day’s events, many were called to military service, and continue still today. Not only does Tuesdays Children provide long term support for the families who lost loved ones on 9/11, but also ensure that families of the fallen soldiers due to the events of 9/11 or post-9/11 military service always have a comforting place to turn to for support and community too.

It provides healing and resilience for all families affected by 9/11, turning pain into purpose while honoring their legacies. As someone who lost a close familiy member on September 11th, I’m incredibly passionate about this cause and proud to be running the marathon in tribute to all of those who were lost on that day.
