Raising funds for Parkinson's in Memory of Chuck Mountain

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the APDA Optimism Walk! 

I am raising money in memory of my grandfather (Grampy) Chuck Mountain, who loved all and fought against Parkinson's disease until his passing in March 2022.  He was generous with his time, and always made time for family.  Some of my best memories are playing countless games of rummy and old maid, and funny moments like copying me when I did tap dancing moves around the house.  I'll forever treasure summers in Maine, and the positive light he brought to our family.  Please help me to reach my goal by making a dononation in his honor!

  • Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD).
  • Funds raised enable the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) to continue providing local education, information, and support, as well as critical nationwide virtual programs to keep everyone supported and connected no matter where they live. You will also help fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately a cure.
  • The more funds we raise, the more people we can help!
