Preeclampsia has affected my family - twice. My mom had it when she was pregnant with me, and then I had it too during my own pregnancy.
Because of it, I had to deliver Sedona early, and it was one of the most overwhelming experiences of Zach’s and my life. Something that should’ve been joyful turned into a whirlwind of fear, monitoring, and decisions we never expected to face.
We were both lucky. But not everyone is. And so many families don’t even know what preeclampsia is until it’s already happening.
That’s why we’re participating in the Promise Walk for Preeclampsia on August 23. We've set a goal to raise $1,000 to support research, education, and advocacy, so that more moms and babies have the chance for safer pregnancies and better outcomes.
If you feel led to give, even a small amount, we’d be so grateful. Every donation truly makes a difference.
