My wife experienced Preeclampsia during her third trimester. She was not properly treated until it became dangerous because of her size. It required our son to be delivered 6 weeks early, an emergency C-Section after a 20-hour long induction, a 10-day hospital stay, and a month-long NICU stay. I want to raise awareness of Preeclampsia so that other mothers are treated better and the people in their life are prepared to support them.
