Walking for Awareness, Hope, and Life After Preeclampsia
Why I Walk
I walk because I’m a survivor of severe preeclampsia.
When I was pregnant with my second daughter, this condition brought us into an early and unexpected fight for our lives. It threatened my liver and kidneys, and it forced her to be born prematurely. It was one of the most traumatic chapters of my life—yet by God’s grace, we both made it through. I walk to raise awareness, honor the journey, and help ensure that more mothers and babies make it to the other side of this fight.
