Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.

On October 12th, 2025, I will be running the Chicago Marathon with Team Resilience. This will be my 4th marathon and on my bucket list. I will be running for Erika's Lighthouse to raise awareness and educate teens about depression. Their mission is very close to me as I work in the field of Suicide Prevention and see everyday how crucial community and connection are. This organization partners with schools to foster meaningful dialogue around mental health. Their 4 pillars of free programs include: classroom education, empowerment clubs, family engagement and policy and staff training. I'll be running for children and teens to remind them that they are never alone. Please support me in my fundraising efforts and help me cross another 26.2 miles!


