Help Me Cross the Finish Line for Kids’ Mental Health

I’ve always loved running. My earliest memories of having fun running are in fifth grade! This year’s Chicago Marathon means more than a medal. I’m running for Erica’s Lighthouse, an organization that makes sure kids struggling with mental health know they are seen, supported, and never alone. Mental health has been my life’s work, and I’ve seen how just one caring adult or the right resource can change a child’s story. That’s why I’m asking for your help today.

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
