Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.

EVERY STUDENT DESERVES GOOD MENTAL HEALTH

Working directly with K12 organizations in my career, I have personally witnessed the importance of educating students about mental health and depression. A topic that is generally considered uncomfortable has led many to struggle in silence. In the Latinx community, the stigma around mental health is even greater. With many adults deeming it unacceptable to openly discuss depression or seek help. I am passionate about educating my community and working alongside Erika’s Lighthouse to bring depression out of the dark for our youth. With your support, we can de-stigmatize depression and provide hope for kids who have it. Together, we can make a meaningful difference!
