For the 2025 Chicago Marathon I am proud to be running with Team Resilience and sponsored by Erika's Lighthouse.  Erika's Lighthouse is a special organization to me as their mission is to provide free resources to adolescents about mental health including depression.   As someone that knows many people and have been affected with depression and mental health challenges myself,  I think it is important to have organizations that are focused on bringing awareness early and often to help reduce the stigmitation of mental health disorders and provide resources for help.  Donating to me will help fund Erika's lighthouse mission and impact thousands of adolescents and teens, helping our next generation learn about how to deal with mental health challenges whether them or a loved one is affected.

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
