Denise’s Dance ?
On June 30, 2009, my mom passed away from stage 4 glioblastoma multiforme. Just a few months later, UC Health held their very first Brain Tumor Walk — and it came at a time when we were all feeling lost and helpless. We formed a team, Denise’s Dance, at the last minute, with homemade shirts and signs, and a promise to keep her memory moving forward year after year.

Sixteen years later, that tradition is still going strong. Every step we take honors her strength, her laughter, and her love. Last year, more than 70 survivors joined the walk — a powerful reminder of how far research and treatment have come thanks to the support of this incredible community.
