My team here at UC has been a giant asset for me during my health journey. After discovering my tumor in 2015, and returning home to Cincinnati, UC has given me the care I've needed. Even when bouncing around different states and doctors, they have kept tabs on my case and offered me constant support.

UC offers top of the art facilities with technology that isn't accessible to most hospitals. With the constant advancements in medicine, my tumor type, oligodendroglioma, has really benefited from the research and developments that hospitals like UC have implemented. I am so lucky to have had proton beam therapy nearby and available to me in the spring of 2024.

Through treatment, medication, routine MRIs and appointments, I am able to now drive!, and live a normal life thanks to UC and brain tumor research! It is so important to me to keep the research coming and continue to help the millions of people impacted by brain tumors.
