In 1981, just after graduating from high school, I lost my Mom to breast cancer. Forty years later, I was diagnosed with it. My outcome---thanks to scientific breakthroughs since then, and my journey---thanks to Wellness House---was COMPLETELY different. I was diagnosed at my annual screening mammogram, and treatment has been a simple lumpectomy and medication to prevent recurrence --- no radiation and no chemotherapy.

While my physical treatment has been easy, the emotional journey after experiencing my Mom's illness was a completely different story. Wellness House was there and really helped me through it. SO many others don't have it so easy, but Wellness House is there and is an incredible gift to everyone experiencing cancer. They provide complete cancer care - every step of the way - with nutrition education, exercises and other therapies, and so many other educational programs to choose from and experience. Whether you have cancer, or you are caring for a friend or family member who is diagnosed with cancer, ALL are welcome at Wellness House. More than 520 programs are provided each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other.
