Greetings!

I work with and for cancer survivors, an incredibly strong group of patients who need help taking care of their health to improve their quality of life. Wellness House (https://wellnesshouse.org) helps do that with a mission to provide cancer survivors and their families with free programs and services that educate, support, and empower survivors to improve their emotional and physical well-being.

On May 4th, 2025 I am participating in the Walk for Wellness House with team UI Health/University of Illinois Cancer Center Survivorship, because my colleagues and I know how important this type of support and community is for people impacted by cancer, and I want to help ensure their ability to access the life-changing programs and services provided by this organization.

Wellness House provides complete cancer care every step of the way. Whether you have cancer, or you are caring for a friend or family member who is diagnosed with cancer, all are welcome at Wellness House. More than 520 programs are provided each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other. 

Because of the funds raised at the Walk and the generous donations of individuals and businesses, everything at Wellness House is provided to participants free of charge! Providing one less thing to worry about when struggling with a cancer diagnosis. 

That's why I have joined the Walk and why I ask you to join me in giving what you can to support cancer survivors!
