Dear friends and family: once a year, I ask you to help me raise money for a very important organization. One that, for the past 6 years, has been such a gift to me. In January, 2019 I learned that I had breast cancer. On February 14, 2019, I found out that I had the hardest to treat - triple negative. On March 19, 2019, the cancer and the lymph nodes it had spread to were removed. On March 19, 2025, I celebrated one year as a Wellness a house staff member AND being 6 years cancer free. The work I do and the people who I humbly serve is the most rewarding experience I have ever had because I personally know how much my colleagues help people every day. People who had no idea the Home of Hope existed...that is, until they had a reason to know. During my year of chemo and radiation, Wellness House helped me in more ways that I can express. I vowed then to give back when I felt better - until then, I would fundraise.

That's where you come in. I am asking for you to consider providing a gift of any amount to help us continue to provide excellent support for the well-being of those impacted by cancer.

Wellness House provides more than 520 programs each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other. 

Because of the Walk, and the generous donations of individuals and businesses, everything at Wellness House is provided free of charge, providing one less thing to worry about when struggling with a cancer.
