Each year, our community comes together for a 2 mile walk to show support, raise awareness and raise funds for families impacted by dementia. All funds raised stay right here in our local community! The fun continues with a silent auction, raffle items as well as health experts providing valuable information.

Our Washington Walk is a morning of celebration and remembrance as we take action and provide hope ensuring families don’t have to walk their dementia journey alone. We would love to see you at this family-friendly event but if you cannot attend, your donation still matters!

Dementia Alliance of North Carolina seeks to improve the lives of North Carolinians impacted by dementia as well as empower their caregivers through support, education and research.

Each programt provides comfort, assistance, resources and education for individuals and families living with dementia.

As a result, we are able to provide a high degree of personal support throughout the entire journey with dementia. Dementia Alliance is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving families in North Carolina.

Here is the impact your donation can make:

$60 provides two hours of respite for an overwhelmed caregiver.
$100 provides a personalized consultation with one of our Dementia Navigators.
$300 provides a family with a Music and Memory at Home Kit.
$500 provides provides a free educational webinar for caregivers.
$1,000 provides a community workshop, taking critical tools and resources across the state.

Our Walks to Defeat Dementia are days of celebration, when the community takes action to provide hope to those living with dementia right here in North Carolina.

Created in 2021, our graceful exhibit of Tribute Flags aims to acknowledge the impact of dementia on North Carolina. Individuals can purchase tribute flags to “honor” loved ones. Flags are available for purchase through the registration process.
