Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the APDA Optimism Walk.
This walk is deeply personal to me. I am walking in honor of my mother, Hellen S. Morse, whose life and strength continue to inspire me every day. Parkinson’s disease touched our family in ways that are hard to fully put into words, but what remains stronger than anything is her spirit.
Every six minutes, someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. No family should have to navigate this journey alone. That’s why I’m raising funds for the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).
The money we raise helps provide:
- Local education, information, and support for families impacted by PD
- Nationwide virtual programs to keep people connected
- Critical scientific research toward better treatments, and ultimately, a cure
This walk is about more than miles. It’s about hope. It’s about honoring those we love. It’s about ensuring that future families have better answers, better care, and brighter outcomes.
If my mother’s life touched yours in any way, or if you simply believe in supporting those living with Parkinson’s, I would be grateful for your support.
Donating is quick and easy. Just click “Support Me” or “Donate Now.” You’ll receive a confirmation email, and I’ll be personally notified so I can thank you.
Every dollar makes a difference. Every step we take matters.
Thank you for helping me honor my mom and stand with the Parkinson’s community.
