Albany Area Education Foundation (AAEF) is proud to announce our annual fundraising event: Purple Pride.
Join us for a fun filled evening as we raise money for this worthy cause. AAEF uses funds raised to annually award grants to teachers in the Albany Area School District.
Your ticket will include delicious food, a beverage of your choice, and delightful entertainment! You will also have an opportunity to participate in some fun games and bid on amazing silent auction! What is AAEF?
A Partner Fund of the Initiative Foundation led by an advisory team of local volunteers who have made a commitment to strengthen our communities. Created in 2017, our vision is to expand opportunities for our students by helping raise funds to fuel school initiatives and programs.
Mission of AAEF:
The Albany Area Education Foundation is a partner fund of the Initiative Foundation devoted to supporting the continued excellence of Albany Area Schools. Partnering with the school district and surrounding communities, the AAEF secures private, supplemental funding to support district programs, spur innovation, and expand opportunities for students and staff in areas of academics, activities, arts and athletics.
