Thomas, fondly referred to as "Tug," has endured and overcome so many challenges in his 9 years. From Total Colonic Hirschsprungs, to West's Syndrome, Myoclonic Seizures, and a myriad of other health issues, he has been a little trooper, taking it all in stride. He has his moments, of course (don't we all?!), but he brings a smile to our faces, kisses to our lips, and the hugs that would rival Olaf the Snowman's. This little man has taught us the value of embracing the little things and taking joy in every moment because the victories (even the small ones) take tremendous effort. ASDA has been a continual rock of support for us as a family. We have been very blessed to be a part of this organization, which offers our family opportunities to interact with other families of children with Down Syndrome, giving us hope for Thomas's future, and helping us through the small and big victories. We have received guidance on many State and Federal paperwork guidelines (so much paperwork!!!), safety issues, and many things that we would just not have thought of without the many years' experience of all those involved. We are extremely grateful for all that ASDA does to support the community and families of those with Down Syndrome, and we are proud to help support them with the Buddy Walk. We appreciate any and all support that can be offered to this organization.
