Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you (any grade level, including college): Mr. Donald Wooten, my junior high school band teacher. He taught us teamwork and helped us to excel at our craft.
What were some of your most enjoyable times in school (any grade level): All of the opportunities I had with out-of-school programs, All-City Band and Orchestra, the Ohio State Fair Band, a visit to Israel, and of course hanging out with my friends.
Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self: You don't realize that life goes by so fast. Make sure you set a good foundation for your future by balancing the fun you are having today with the responsibilities you will have tomorrow. A solid foundation will help you build a prosperous future.
