Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you (any grade level, including college):  Dr. Kent Smith, a college advisor, was the kind of mentor who didn’t give you the answers. He gave you better questions to ask yourself.

What were some of your most enjoyable times in school (any grade level):  Numbers made the world work. I saw math as something so beautiful and awe-inspiring.

Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self: I’d probably tell her that time flies. But you’re the pilot.

The reason(s) you are raising funds to support Project GRAD Akron’s scholarships and programs: Dr. David James once told me, if you can SEE it, you can BE it. I'm raising fund for Project GRAD Akron because this organization helps Akron's students SEE a pathway towards a bright, successful future. And then Project GRAD Akron gives them the map and the tools to walk down that path.
