Name of your favorite teacher and what made the person special to you (any grade level, including college): Benjamin Drone and James Romano. Both of these gentlemen made learning fun and challenging in high school. They were my role models for becoming an effective college adjunct instructor as well as a public school teacher.
What were some of your most enjoyable times in school (any grade level): My most memorable years were in high school. I surrounded myself with students that had higher education aspirations. This made me take more responsibility for my learning and future.
Looking back over the years, what advice would you give to your high school self or college self: Study longer to gain a deeper understanding of each subject that I was required to take.
The reason(s) you are raising funds to support Project GRAD Akron ’s scholarships and programs: With the cost of college today, our students need financial support so that they can stay in college and complete their degree. Many of them will be the first in their family and extended family to earn a degree.

Anything else you would like to share or highlight: The current climate of the country is making it difficult for even our brightest scholars to attend college. Therefore, we have to do what we can to make becoming a college graduate a reality for them too.
