In 2019 I started volunteering at Camp One Step. At first, I wondered what I was getting myself into, but as the week began  I realized what a magical place this is.  Camp quickly became my happy place and home away from home. Year after year, program after program camp fills my cup and leaves a lasting impact on my life. 

Even more important though is the impact camp has on the lives of its campers. Camp is a place where they can be kids again and where they learn that every day truly is a great day to be alive. 
 

One camper said, "Camp is where I felt whole again. Camp is where I laughed the hardest, loved the deepest. Camp is where I found me again."

I’m so excited to be running with Team One Step again and I need your help! Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer.  Camp One Step Programs aim to cure the spirit by providing an environment of hope.
