On October 11th, I will be taking to the beautiful streets of Chicago to run my 16th marathon - and I couldn't be more proud to be running it for Team One Step! Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. I was introduced to this amazing organization a couple years ago by my running buddy and dear friend, Dr Jen Reichek, a pediatric oncologist at Lurie Children's. Camp One Step Programs aim to cure the spirit by providing an environment of hope for kids and their families.
