This September, I’m honored to be running the BMW Berlin Marathon to support children diagnosed with cancer and their families.
My "second mother", Sharla Sieve, passed away from colorectal cancer in 2022, and I have made it my mission to honor her two-fold: through fundraising to honor her good nature and philantrophy she is remembered for, and through my persuit of completing all of the World Majors to honor her active lifestyle as a walker/runner in my hometown.
I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to fundraise and run on behalf of this organization, and especially honored they gave me the opportunity to run a third major, having completed Chicago and Boston twice!
I'm running as part of Team One Step, an incredible organization that provides camps and year-round programs for children affected by cancer.
